Position Overview:
The Medical Assistant and Nursing Assistant are responsible in providing compassionate and professional care to individuals with eating disorders and assisting providers to improve quality of patient care.
Schedule
Full-Time, Day coverage (On-site)
Hours - 6am-6pm - 36 hours/week
12 hour shifts rotating weekends and self schedule Monday-Friday.
How Nursing/Medical Assistants Empower Recovery
Communication with clients, staff, and outside contacts
Documentation, preparing exam rooms and rooming clients
Taking vitals, EKGs, blood draws, Accuchecks and reporting results to nurse
Assist in refilling prescriptions, help maintain inventory of medical supplies
Set up tube feeds and pumps after nurse confirmation of tube placement and the feed to be infused.
Qualifications
For Medical Assistants: Successful completion of accredited Medical Assistant program.
For Nursing Assistants: Current licensure as CNA II in North Carolina
Current Basic Life Support certification required (American Heart Association) within 30 days from date of hire
