Frigoglass Romania is hiring Senior Buyer for Procurement Head Office.  

Job purpose:

In close collaboration with the Procurement Manager, develops, manages & executes the procurement strategy for the assigned categories and support the achievement of the company's short- & long-term objectives. Responsible for in-depth category knowledge, align with the business, define category strategy, execute strategic sourcing, manage relationships with key suppliers & internal customers through a predefined procurement process.

Key accountabilities:

• Responsible for end to end source-to-contract procurement process and operational expertise in defined Categories, collaboratively and proactively aligning with other Functions, by performing spend and market analysis, conducting sourcing events, negotiating, contracting and managing supplier performance to deliver the right model for value and productivity benefits, in line with agreed strategies
• Strive for continuous Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) improvement as well as service and quality optimization
• Collaborate with functions to identify and leverage opportunities and implement agreed common strategies
• Build supplier relationships that generate value
• Risk management by identifying potential supply chain risks and development of mitigation strategies
• Ensure all sourcing and buying decisions are in line with Policies and Guidelines and all required approvals/ sign offs are obtained in a timely manner
• Ensure proper procurement process execution, documentation, contract management and reporting
• Ensure follow up actions regarding compliance and audit

Required qualifications and experience:

• University degree - Business Administration, Engineering or similar
• 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably within Procurement
• Customer focus/ Excellent negotiator/ Strategic thinker
• Collaborates/ Builds Networks/ Communicates effectively
• Proficient user of the English language
• CIPS or equivalent certification is an asset
• Project management abilities
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
