The Role

As a Senior Business Systems Administrator, you will be a key business SME providing 2nd line support for Acturis and other insurance applications, supporting business-critical systems, and training other team members.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provide 2nd line support for Acturis and other insurance applications.
  • Deliver support for projects utilising Acturis.
  • Evaluate and translate Acturis upgrades into user-friendly guides.
  • Maintain accurate system configuration records.
  • Improve operational efficiency through automation and workflows.
  • Support the internal Acturis helpdesk and ensure timely resolution of queries.
  • Create and process test scripts for UAT testing of new features or documents.
  • Share best practice hints & tips with super users.
  • Gather feedback and development suggestions from users.
  • Mentor other team members in Acturis.


Who We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of Acturis support experience.
  • Experience in a similar support or systems administration role.
  • Knowledge of Global XB/Novidea and other insurance systems (desirable).
  • Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements in insurance (e.g., GDPR, FCA, TCF).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to translate technical requirements to the business.
  • Strong MS Office skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
  • Confident dealing with varying levels of stakeholders.


Qualifications:

  • GCSE standard (English, Mathematics, Computer Studies).
  • Ideally ITIL Qualified.
