We are looking for:

A Program and project management Consultant for the accelerated implementation of a new global electronic Document Management System (eDMS) at our partner in Basel, supporting approximately 20,000 users across more than 25 manufacturing sites This initiative is executed in close partnership with the internal IT Project Manager and external project management teams, including both the system provider and implementation partner, to ensure delivery within defined scope, timeline, and budget

Key focus areas include:

• Comprehensive clean-up of existing document management systems prior to migration
• Finalization of business processes and system configuration
• Organizational change management and user training
• Integration with existing systems
• Data migration, testing, and validation
• System launches and post-implementation support

Your tasks:

• Lead the implementation of a new eDMS system, with full responsibility for timeline, budget, and milestones
• Manage and motivate cross-functional project teams, including technical consultants and business analysts
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration among all team members and stakeholders
• Possess 5–7 years of software project implementation experience, ideally with Veeva Systems (eDMS/eQMS)
• Apply Veeva best practices and methodologies throughout the project lifecycle
• Deliver the project within defined objectives, scope, timelines, resources, and budget
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, documentation, and regular status reports
• Track progress, control spending, and report on financial and project performance

What are the requirements?

• Extensive senior-level experience leading multi-year, multi-project implementations of complex electronic Document Management Systems (eDMS), electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS), or quality process software in GMP-regulated environments, with a strong preference for direct experience with Veeva Systems MBA
• Formal project management training and certification
• Demonstrated success in leading multi-year, multi-project implementations of complex eDMS/eQMS or quality process software in GMP-regulated environments
• Direct experience with Veeva Systems strongly preferred
• Deep expertise in project management best practices, tools, and methodologies
• Proven ability to manage projects within global, multicultural organizations
• Experience in project management within a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) environment is highly desirable
