Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Business Process Engineer with extensive experience in commercial insurance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Lean methodologies, process optimization, and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO). This role involves analyzing, designing, and implementing business processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the organization. The role also includes internal consulting responsibilities to investigate operational issues and propose creative solutions.

Job Responsibilities
- Process Creation, Improvement, and Optimization: Analyze, design, and implement business processes to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Projects: Lead cross-functional process improvement projects to align with the organization’s strategic goals.
- Operational Excellence: Develop and maintain process documentation, including workflows, procedures, and controls.
- Change Management: Drive organizational change management efforts to support the implementation of new processes.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct root cause analysis and data analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
- Team Leadership and Mentorship: Mentor and coach team members on process improvement methodologies.
- Learning and Development: Support the design and delivery of training programs to enhance team capabilities and ensure successful adoption of new processes.
- Capability Identification: Identify and assess new capabilities needed to support business objectives and develop requirements for their implementation.
- Internal Consulting: Investigate operational issues, provide analysis, and propose effective solutions to improve business operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in business process engineering, preferably within the commercial insurance sector.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale process improvement projects.
- Strong knowledge of BPM tools and techniques.
- Experience with BPO and process mapping.
- Experience in learning and development, including training design and delivery.
- Experience in internal consulting and operational issue resolution.

The target salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 annually.
The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
