Job Summary
Business Intelligence Data Engineer/Developer will be responsible designing, building, and maintaining the systems and infrastructure that enable the processing, collection, storage, and analysis of large volumes of data. And ensuring that data is used and stored appropriately within an organization
Duties and Responsibilities & FREQUENCY
15% Designing and building data models to support business requirements
15% Developing and maintaining data ingestion and processing systems
10% Implementing data storage solutions (databases and data lakes)
10% Ensuring data consistency and accuracy through data validation and cleansing techniques
Develop and maintain data inventory and metadata
10% Working together with cross-functional teams to identify and address data-related issues
10% Development of solutions to facilitate the data collection, distribution and analytics development
10% Act as a go-to expert for all Data customers within the bank and assure the accuracy & timeliness of business reports within the bank
5% Coach & guide Business intelligence team & Business Champions on an on-going basis
5% Monitor and enforce data governance policies: Implement processes to monitor data usage, identify and address compliance issues, and enforce established policies
5% Develop and implement data quality programs: Define data quality standards, implement data cleansing and validation procedures, and monitor data quality metrics
5% Manage data access and security: Define data access controls, implement user authentication and authorization mechanisms, and ensure data privacy and security.

-Experience with big data

Technological Competencies
-Business Intelligence tools (i.e Exploration, Visualization, Analysis).
-Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, or Scala).
-Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
-Knowledge of database management systems, both relational (e.g., SQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
-Strong knowledge in data integration and ETL tools, such as Talend, Informatica, or Apache.
