Due to market expansion, we are looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager – Data & Analytics to join our team and help continue to grow our national client base.
This Senior Business Development Manager – Data & Analytics role will play an essential part in developing Bluenet market presence and closing net new client logos. Ideal candidates will have an entrepreneurial mindset, excellent presentation skills and be able to convey the benefits of leveraging Data & Analytics solutions to help clients make better business decisions. Self-motivation and proven prospecting skills are a must.
What you will be doing:
100% Focused on closing net new Data & Analytics business
Identify and prioritize target accounts within strategic verticals
Ability to recognize client requirements and uncover areas of need
Present targeted presentations and manage client meetings
Complete personal outreach to prospects through various channels, including cold calling, email, and social media
Leverage client references and website referrals to generate new leads
Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers to understand their business needs and pain points around data
Create and conduct presentations with prospective client decision-makers to showcase the value proposition of our solutions, support, and company experience
Work closely with the Leadership team to provide market feedback and client decision making data
Negotiate pricing and contract terms to close opportunities and achieve revenue targets.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and activity reports to sales management
What we are looking for:
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a Data & Analytics sales role or similar solution portfolio.
Ability to articulate the value of leveraging data to improve the client’s business
Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving new business
Strong prospecting skills and ability to generate leads through personal outreach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients
Proficiency in solution selling methodologies and techniques
Utilize company subject matter experts in building compelling client presentations, proposals etc.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for driving business growth
Working knowledge of HubSpot or similar CRM to manage sales pipelines and track business development activities
Location: Tampa, Charlotte, Albany (Remote US)
Pay Structure: Base Salary + Uncapped Commission
Total Comp: $165k-200k+
