Position: Senior Business Analyst – eCommerce

Richardson, TX

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, understand, and translate business requirements into user stories or use cases for technical teams.
• Analyze requirements to enhance eCommerce websites and optimize user experience.
• Provide functional expertise and insights during design discussions.
• Design user interaction models, workflows, and interfaces to ensure intuitive user experiences.
• Communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
• Stay up to date with industry best practices and ensure adherence to relevant standards.
• Manage relationships with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure all solutions align with the organization’s long-term IT and business strategy.
• Support feasibility studies and project assessments, including risk management, scoping, and effort estimation.
• Participate in testing activities to validate that solutions meet business and technical requirements.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Hybris eCommerce is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience delivering product demos and presentations when required.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and execution.
• Basic project management skills are a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• 10+ years of experience in IT with a strong focus on requirements gathering, system configuration, and customization.
• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst for eCommerce platforms such as Hybris, Shopify, BigCommerce, Salesforce Commerce, or Adobe Commerce.
• Strong blend of both functional and technical expertise in eCommerce and digital solutions.
