Summary

Overview The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for working closely with core business unit leaders to plan, execute, and deliver high-value business process improvements leveraging people, technology, and data. This includes building relationships, mapping, and proposing game-changing approaches to enhance efficiency and profitability across lines of business. Additionally, the Senior Business Analyst identifies and defines business objectives for projects while acting as the main liaison between the Project Management Office and operational business units throughout the project life cycle. An understanding of modern development and organizational methodologies is preferred. Responsibilities Lead the analysis of business needs to inform and contribute to the development of our overall business roadmap, focusing on retail and hospitality trends. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Private Sales, Corporate Marketing, Restaurant and Retail Operations, and Technology. Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to gather requirements, drive consensus, and foster collaboration. Identify and analyze current processes, propose improvements, and champion the implementation of streamlined workflows, with a specific emphasis on enhancing customer journeys and operational efficiency. Lead the definition and validation of requirements using a combination of Waterfall and Agile methodologies where appropriate. Utilize the Project Management Office for visibility, process consistency, and effective communication. Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers to ensure the successful implementation of requirements and the delivery of high-quality solutions. Maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements, processes, and solutions to provide clear and accessible information for all stakeholders. Actively contribute to initiatives that enhance guest experiences - understanding customer journeys, pain points, and opportunities for improvement. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Economics, Computer Science, Marketing, etc., with a strong understanding of retail or hospitality principles. 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a proven track record of success in a retail or hospitality environment. Experience within a related industry is highly preferred. Experience with Business Process Modeling (BPM) tools such as Lucidchart, Vexo, Visio. Experience with requirements management tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills - capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on strategic thinking.
