Summary Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to join their Commercial Operations IT team. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of business and technology. The successful candidate will act as a critical liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors; translating business needs into actionable solutions that improve system functionality, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance commercial performance. In this role, you'll be supporting and enhancing systems that are vital to the operations of Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams. You'll work cross-functionally to identify areas for improvement, lead the design and implementation of system changes, and ensure seamless integration of new technologies. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, business process knowledge, and a deep understanding of the data tools and platforms used in commercial operations. Responsibilities * Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to define and implement technology solutions. * Analyze business processes and translate user needs into clear, actionable technical requirements. * Lead the implementation and optimization of systems within Commercial Operations, ensuring they support strategic goals. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process gaps and recommend improvements. * Manage system testing, validation, and deployment activities to ensure functionality aligns with business and compliance requirements. * Monitor and maintain regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX, GxP) across systems and workflows. * Apply Agile and SDLC methodologies to guide project activities and solution delivery. * Use ALM tools to manage project documentation, track progress, and support quality assurance. Qualifications * 5+ years of experience in business analysis or a related role. * Experience in the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry is required. * Strong understanding of SOX compliance, GxP, and ITGC controls. * Analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. * Experience working across cross-functional teams and external vendors. * Familiarity with Veeva CRM and commercial sales processes. * Proficiency in tools like Power BI, Tableau, and data platforms including MDM, Data Lake, Databricks, and Informatica. * Strong background in Agile and Waterfall methodologies. * Experience using Business Process Modeling tools and creating process documentation. * Proficient in using ALM tools to manage requirements, testing, and project tracking. * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
