Title:- Senior Business Analyst – Financial Crime Remediation

Location:- Adelaide, SA

Length: 8 - Month Fixed-Term Contract

Role Purpose

Join a high-impact team focused on uplifting and delivering a key Financial Crime remediation program in Adelaide. As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll support the GM Financial Crime to drive critical outcomes across process documentation, evidence collation, and project coordination. You'll be the glue between cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring smooth program execution, clear communication, and well-informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities You will:

• Lead the coordination of Financial Crime (FC) remediation tasks and weekly stand-ups.
• Maintain and manage the Adelaide action register, tracking progress and raising flags as needed.
• Assist in drafting and refining SOPs and controls to support remediation efforts.
• Gather and compile evidence to support short-term deliverables and tactical responses.
• Liaise with the broader FC team and PMO to ensure accurate, timely reporting.
• Support governance activities and ongoing reporting.
• Prepare business requirements and process documentation.
• Conduct workflow mapping and risk/control assessments.
• Facilitate collaboration across business units and external vendors.
• Provide strategic insights to support business efficiencies and decision-making.

About You To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

• 8+ years of business analysis experience, including 4+ years in a senior capacity.
• Proven experience working on complex programs – ideally in Financial Crime, compliance, or risk.
• Strong delivery experience across both agile and traditional project methodologies.
• Proficiency in Excel, Visio and ideally Azure DevOps (ADO) or Jira.
• Exceptional organisation, time management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage priorities in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
• Experience in risk, control, and workflow analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A collaborative mindset with a strong focus on results and detail.
• Change management experience would be highly regarded.
