As a vital member of our
Irvine, California team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on transportation projects that focus on bridges and other transportation structure designs. You may lead functional teams and will responsible for creating drawings and simulations using software tools and resources supporting our clients’ overall project goals.
As the
Senior Bridge Engineer, you’ll develop partnerships and trusted relationships with delivery partners and end clients to build the reputation of Jacobs’ bridge practice. Working closely with the sales team, you’ll maintain and/or develop relationships with new and existing clients to determine their needs and manage expectations. Utilizing effective communication internally within the company, as well as externally with clients, design partners and other stakeholders is key to success.

Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least 15 years’ experience, predominantly in bridge design and construction.
- Significant experience in Project Management tools
- Understanding of technical standards for design, construction and maintenance
- Previous technical experience in discipline(s) relevant to design, including complex civil structures and bridge design
- Significant experience on large, multidisciplinary Design and Construct and Alliance projects
- Knowledge of the local environment, relevant industry, particularly working with MRWA and local Tier 1 contractors.

The base salary range for this position is $138,400.00 to $216,350.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
