The Sr Brand Copywriter position will report to the Head of Brand & Content.
As the Sr Brand Copywriter, you will
Lead copy development across Lifecycle, Performance Marketing, and Web channels to drive customer engagement and conversion
Shape and evolve brand voice guidelines based on performance data and market research
Contribute to business strategy through brand-focused initiatives and creative solutions
Partner with Product Marketing to balance business objectives with brand-building goals
Develop compelling marketing copy that educates consumers about financial services value propositions
Drive creative ideation and execution for marketing campaigns across channels
Create and optimize content for digital marketing, web, email, product, and offline advertising
Lead copy-testing initiatives to continuously improve creative performance
Collaborate with designers to create cohesive marketing assets that strengthen brand identity
About You
5+ years of B2C copywriting experience in either an agency or in-house creative team
Experience writing on consumer financial services is a plus
Possess a diverse portfolio of copy examples including the web, advertising, email, and product
Ability to balance business objectives with user needs and team needs
Experience working with Product, Design, and Lifecycle Marketing teams to optimize and A/B test copy across the funnel and end-to-end customer experience
Ability to adapt copy tone of voice to align with various audiences
Self-driven, organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a dynamic environment
Understanding of SEO principles
Experience working with content management systems is a plus
A savvy communicator who can distill complex concepts into clear and compelling messaging
Work well within a team structure
Demonstrate the ability to lead a project and ability to write copy that materially delivers revenue and results
Willingness to travel to the Oakland office monthly to collaborate with other Earnies.

This role will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
While you’ll enjoy the flexibility of remote work, we also love to see our Earnies face-to-face! We ask you to join us at our Oakland office for 3 consecutive days a month for team collaboration and some fun. It's a chance to connect, share ideas, and maybe even grab some coffee together!
A little about our pay philosophy We take pride in compensating our employees fairly and equitably. We are showcasing a range of your potential base salary based on the roles location. The successful candidate’s starting pay will also be determined based on job-related qualifications, internal compensation, candidate location and budget. This range may be modified in the future.
Pay Range
$122,000—$138,000 USD
