About BYD Auto Hungary

On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.

BYD Auto Hungary is looking for a versatile and dynamic engineer to join our Auto Parts Division.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for completing the body product and technology planning, and implementing it in the project models; organizing and completing the product planning of the project models;
• Responsible for completing the feasibility analysis support for the early product styling engineering of the project models;
• Responsible for completing the body quality problem management and change analysis, forming a product FMEA library and applying it in the project implementation;
• Unified control of the development of external suppliers of body parts;
• Responsible for completing the body technical file collection: maintaining the department to share various data and documents in the database; controlled and maintained according to the process technical standards, design specifications, design summaries and other technical accumulation documents;
• Responsible for completing the competitive model analysis data collection work, compiling and collecting relevant disassembly, measurement, simulation and test documents.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above, major in vehicle and machinery is preferred;
• Language requirements: English can be used as working language,Proficiency in Chinese is preferred.
• Familiar with common software such as Office, NX, Teamcenter;
• Strong hands-on ability, with experimental experience is preferred;
• Love work, have team spirit, good at communication;
