Summary

The Senior Benefits Analyst reports to the Director of Benefits and is responsible for day-to-day administration of the Americas Benefits Program. This position interacts with internal and external stakeholders, including current and former employees, beneficiaries, HR, accounting, legal, and payroll. To be successful in the role, the Senior Benefits Analyst will need to be a problem solver and possess exceptional analytical and customer service skills. Your day to day * Provides administrative and analytical support to the Americas benefit program (US, Canada, Mexico), including enrollment, financial reconciliations, analysis, technical and customer support * Responsible for partnering with benefits administration provider to ensure system integrity and address any issues timely * Manages benefit invoicing process including routine reconciliations in collaboration with payroll and external vendor partners * Provides internal consulting to HR colleagues, employees and other customers concerning benefit plans and provisions, and related compliance requirements * Responds to benefit inquiries from current and former employees in a timely manner * Partners with stakeholders to document administrative procedures, processes and workflows and makes recommendations for process improvement to continuously improve efficiency * Manages IHG's wellness program including educational campaigns, events, and Health Fairs; Identifies communication and education opportunities * Supports the Benefits Manager with US open enrollment * Liaise with vendor partners to ensure accurate transmission of files * Conduct and/or participate in benefit surveys; analyze results; and provide recommendations regarding policy/program revisions to leadership to ensure the Company's competitive posture is maintained * Supports internal and external audits of benefits programs * Maintain program contracts, addendums and renewals What we need from you * Requires a BA degree and a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible broad based, employee benefits experience * Benefits certification(s) desired * Knowledge of relevant federal and state regulations affecting employee benefit programs, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, Workers Compensation and Department of Labor * Ability to take initiative, multitask, prioritize, meet deadlines and work well under pressure * Strong analytical skills with an understanding of benefit plan designs * Strong problem-solving skills with ability to apply resolutions * Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment * Exceptional attention to detail required * Ability to provide excellent customer service * Proficient in Microsoft Office Location - This role can be based in any metropolitan city in the EST or CST time zone preferably.  If based in the Atlanta office, the expectation is to be in office three (3) days a week.  This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business. If remotely based, required travel is limited to the Atlanta office. The salary range for this role is $75,000 to $95,000.  This role is also eligible for bonus pay.  We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
