Role And Responsibilities

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer at David AI you'll build and scale rock-solid backend systems that just work- fast, reliable and ready for anything we throw at them. You will:

• Scope, design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services that support our applications.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability through effective architecture and engineering best practices.
• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and performance of backend systems.
• Instrument high-quality deployment practices to ensure fast, standardized, and reliable releases that keep our business moving quickly.
  
  

Who We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in backend development ranging from microservices development, API design, and building scalable infrastructure.
• Experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL solutions.
• Understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and similar tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize system performance and reliability.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or similar.
  
  

Bonus points if you have

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Built scalable data pipelines that have facilitated large-scale event-driven workflows across large volumes of data.
• Deployed ML models for inference in a production environment.
