Senior Backend Developer (Go/Java, FinTech, Armenia)

About the Company

We are a fast-growing investment FinTech platform. Our team remains compact, but revenue is growing rapidly. Our goal is to scale the product and expand into new markets.

Role Responsibilities

- The current codebase is written in Nest.js — your task will be to gradually extract services from it and transition the system to a microservices architecture.
- Develop new services in Go and Java.
- Fully configure CI/CD and deployment in Kubernetes.
- Maintain production SLA with a load of 20,000+ active users.
- Work closely with product and marketing teams to rapidly deliver features.

Requirements

- 4+ years of commercial backend development experience.
- Hands-on experience designing microservices and maintaining production environments with > 20,000 users.
- Proficiency in Go and/or Java.
- Production experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
- Experience with AWS services - EC2, RDS, API Gateway.
- Understanding of DDD, REST/gRPC, and observability.
- Willingness to relocate to Armenia for 3–6 months (we’ll assist).
- English level B1 or higher (for technical documentation and calls).

Nice to Have

Experience with Nest.js projects and their migration, FinTech domain, Kafka/Event-Driven architecture, Terraform, leadership experience, use of AI tools for productivity.
