With our unified SaaS platform deltaconX, we simplify regulatory compliance, to streamline transaction reporting processes. Since the market launch in 2013, we have been committed to helping businesses meet evolving regulatory demands efficiently.
Our platform is the one stop shop for our clients to be compliant with key regulations like EMIR, MiFIR, SFTR, REMIT, MAS, HKMA and many more. As we continue to grow through our Go-Global initiative and strategic partnerships, we are looking for talented individuals to join us in shaping the future of regulatory compliance and delivering innovative solutions to our clients.
As our client base continues to grow rapidly, so does the demand on our system. With 10X growth year over year in daily transaction volume, we are entering a new phase of engineering—scaling our product to ensure performance, reliability, and maintainability under sustained, enterprise-level load.
We are looking for a Senior Developer who brings both experience and vision to help us evolve our platform to meet these demands.
Your Impact
You will play a key role in transforming a production-proven solution into a highly scalable, distributed platform that serves enterprise clients across the globe. This includes actively shaping architectural decisions, optimizing performance, and contributing to the gradual migration away from a monolithic foundation.
Your Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, service-oriented solutions in Kotlin (2+) and Java (21), aligned with our growing performance and availability requirements.
- Contribute to the platform’s evolution by refactoring legacy components and improving the robustness of the system under increasing loads..
- Collaborate across teams to modernise architecture and build new features that are resilient, observable, and horizontally scalable.
- Work with our technology stack: Kotlin (2+), Java (21), Spring Framework, Micronaut, Apache Kafka, Apache Camel, Apache Artemis JMS, Hibernate, Kubernetes, Helm, REST, SOAP, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and the Elastic ELK Stack.
- Use modern developer tools like JetBrains IntelliJ + AI, Datagrip, Lens, Rancher, and Postman to streamline development.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to ensure rapid, safe, and repeatable deployments.
- Take part in architectural discussions and influence key technology decisions as we continue scaling globally.
Your Profile
- You’ve scaled transaction-heavy, performance-critical systems in a SaaS or enterprise context.
- You are fluent in Java and/or Kotlin, and you’re comfortable working in a hybrid codebase transitioning from monolith to microservices.
- You have hands-on experience with distributed systems, message-driven architecture (Kafka), and resilient service design.
- You are confident working with Kubernetes-based deployments and know how to make systems observable and maintainable.
- You understand modern CI/CD workflows and infrastructure-as-code, ideally with GitLab.
- You enjoy collaborative environments with flat hierarchies and shared technical ownership.
- > You communicate clearly and effectively in English, both written and spoken.
- Fluent German would be an advantage.
- We can only consider applications of applicants from the European Union, Blue Card (issued by Austria) or Red White Red Card holders at this time.
We Offer You
- An interesting and varied job in a dynamic and ambitious company with flat hierarchies.
- An international environment with the opportunity for continuous professional and personal development.
- Flexible working hours with the option of working from home.
- A modern office “myHive” in the Twin Towers on Wienerberg with excellent infrastructure as well as attractive benefits.
We are dedicated to cultivating a fair and inclusive workplace rooted in trust and mutual respect.
Embracing diversity is fundamental to our success, and we strive to build a team that reflects a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and talents.
For this position, we offer a gross annual salary starting at EUR 60.900,– according to the valid IT collective agreement with the willingness to overpay according to qualifications and professional experience.
