We are partnering with a well-established consultancy that specializes in delivering technology and transformation solutions to the financial services sector. This opportunity is offered as a 1-year direct contract (with strong potential for extension), giving you the chance to be part of a global team driving a high-impact, enterprise-scale migration project for a Tier 1 international bank.

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will be embedded within a collaborative, cross-functional team working across multiple geographies. You’ll be expected to contribute to backend system development and integration using modern engineering practices and tools, while operating within a fast-paced and dynamic financial services environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in backend software development
• Proficient in Java with strong application of Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Solid experience in C#/.NET backend development
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and API design
• Experience working with middleware messaging technologies (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Prior experience in banking or financial services projects will be a strong advantage
