Senior Backend Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our client's Agile tech team. You'll help build and maintain reliable backend systems, working with modern tools and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Write automated tests and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply DevOps, security, and Agile best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Mentor junior developers and support team growth.

Must-Have (Non-Negotiable):

• Strong hands-on experience with Java (8 or higher, ideally 11+)
• Proficiency in Spring and Spring Boot
• Experience with REST APIs, Git, and test automation tools (e.g., JUnit, Mockito)
• Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and Agile development

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with SQL, JPA/Hibernate, microservices, Docker/Kubernetes
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) and build tools like Maven
