Tallium is looking for an experienced Back-End Engineer with strong expertise in Java and AWS services, and good knowledge of Spring and Hibernate for a US fintech company that produces high-quality solutions for Banks, Insurance companies and Asset managers. Required skills: 6+ years of hands-on coding experience in Java 8, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate - is a must; Experience building microservices and RESTful web services; Experience working with RDBMS (pref. MYSQL) and NoSQL databases like MongoDB, NEO4j etc.; Working experience with OAuth2, OpenID Connect/SAML, JWT and Spring Security; Understanding of Java build tools like Maven/Gradle; Experience with AWS services (like RDS, VPC, EC2, OpenSearch) Bachelor's degree / Master's degree in Computer Science or related field; Understanding business requirements and designs; Experience with distributed and high scalable systems; Previous experience with international teams on big, long-term projects; Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to produce high-quality code; High level of professional responsibility; English - Upper-Intermediate or higher; Will be a plus: Exposure to UI and front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript; Frameworks and libraries such as Angular/React.js; An understanding of CI/CD pipeline and building automation tools like Jenkins; Experience in Linux and shell scripting; Knowledge of messaging queues like RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ; Working knowledge of Apache Kafka and pub-sub systems; Experience with enterprise authentication and authorization solutions like Okta; Experience with SSO; Experience with Docker; The stack of the Project: Java; Spring; Hibernate; React.js.; SQL; MySQL.
