Title: Senior Azure DevOps Engineer /Azure Architect Location: Dallas, TX Duration: Long term Rates: Market Standard Business Line: Information Technology. Reports To: SRE leader, D&T No of Positions: 1 Start Date: As soon as possible. Overview of Position: We are Host (https://host.cbre.com/) - product Engineering team at CBRE, and we consist of highly skilled SRE engineers. Our prime responsibility is to bring reliability to Azure based Host's production infrastructure. We automate infrastructure provisioning, cloud security, monitoring, and troubleshooting. We use a lot of open-source tools and languages to accomplish our tasks like Java, Python, Terraform, ELK etc and maintain our own codebase for infrastructure provisioning and other automation. We use Git repos and CI/CD deployment constructs. Because of the nature of data, we need engineers that understand data security, ownership, classification, access management and should have previously worked with protected, personally identifiable information, as well as material non-public information. Key Responsibilities: You will be part of Host Cloud platform engineering group. You will be acting as subject-matter expert on systems being created and managed internally. Your job is to develop, implement solutions and ensure they are resilience and reliable, working at a scale. You will be responsible for leading effort in building a solution to solve challenges at CBRE. Required Knowledge & Skills: Experience: 6-10 years would be preferable. At least 3 years of experience in similar role. Mandatory skills: * Intermediate or expert level on Azure DevOps * Experience in Capacity planning, Cloud security and networking * At least 1 year of experience in managing any flavor of Kubernetes. * Experience on creating, maintaining and scaling platforms for web and mobile applications using ARMS or Terraform. * Knowledge of ITIL / SRE processes (Incident, Change, Problem, SLA etc) with Documentation skills (Content writing) Secondary skills: * Experience in managing spark cluster or any big data platform (Hive, Hadoop) is a plus * Hand on experience in working with DevOps tools like Ansible, Prometheus, Grafana, Terraform etc. Personal Attributes: * Very good communication skills. * Ability to easily fit into a distributed development team. * Customer service oriented. * Enthusiastic/High initiative. * Ability to manage timelines of multiple initiatives. * Very good attention to detail and the ability to always follow up.
