Job Summary

Creant Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Data Engineer to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing data analytics and data warehouse solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies.

This role requires expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, and other Azure analytics services. The candidate will work in a hybrid setup, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to develop scalable and efficient data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks.
• Develop data models, data warehouse solutions, and analytical solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, and Dataverse.
• Work with Azure AppInsights and PowerCAT tools for data monitoring and reporting.
• Implement Azure Function Apps, Logic Apps, and API integrations for data movement and transformation.
• Optimize performance and scalability of data engineering workflows in a cloud environment.
• Ensure data security, compliance, and governance within the Azure ecosystem.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement solutions.
• Perform troubleshooting and debugging of data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions.
• Maintain documentation of data engineering processes, best practices, and architectures.
  
  

Required Technical Skills

Azure Data Engineering & Analytics :

• Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Hands-on experience with Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, Azure Cosmos DB.
• Experience in designing and implementing data warehouses and analytical solutions.
  
  

Programming & Development

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Scala, or Spark for data transformation and analysis.
• Experience with PowerShell and Azure DevOps for automation and CI/CD processes.
  
  

Data Integration & Monitoring

• Knowledge of Azure AppInsights, Dataverse, PowerCAT Tools for data management and monitoring.
• Experience with API integrations, Azure Logic Apps, Function Apps.
  
  

Performance Optimization & Security

• Strong understanding of data partitioning, indexing, caching, and optimization techniques.
• Experience with RBAC, encryption, and compliance in Azure data solutions.
  
  

Cloud & DevOps

• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD), ARM templates, Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Experience with cloud cost management and performance tuning in Azure.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications & Certifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) certification preferred.
• Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
