We are looking for an experience AWS Developer with experience with Python to join our client in building comprehensive media streaming solutions.

Description

• Collaborate with stakeholders to build lasting relationships and understand project requirements for greenfield product development on the AWS cloud platform.
• Take ownership and responsibility for project deliverables, ensuring honesty and transparency in all communications.
• Self-organise tasks with excellent attention to detail, identifying and managing risks effectively.
• Develop and maintain applications using Python, Lambda, DynamoDB, and other AWS services (SQS, SNS, S3, EventBridge, CloudWatch, API Gateway, IAM, etc.).
• Design and implement RDBMS solutions (preferably PostgreSQL) and Step Functions to support scalable and robust applications.
• Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Utilize Git and CI/CD pipelines to manage code repositories and automate deployment processes.
• Explore and integrate additional technologies such as AWS CDK, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, Media Services (MediaConvert, MediaLive, MediaPackage), and Terraform to enhance product capabilities.

Profile

• At least 4 years of experience on similar position
• Proficiency in Python, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
• Experience with RDBMS (preferably PostgreSQL), Step Functions, and various AWS services (SQS, SNS, S3, EventBridge, CloudWatch, API Gateway, IAM, etc.).
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to mentor more junior developers.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ideally, some experience with AWS CDK, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, Media Services (MediaConvert, MediaLive, MediaPackage), and Terraform, as well as AWS Certified Developer/Solution Architect qualification.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships with stakeholders, along with modesty, honesty, and a willingness to accept ownership and responsibility.
• Ability to self-organise with excellent attention to detail and strong risk identification and management skills.
