Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned AWS BI Architect with extensive experience in designing, building, and optimizing data and analytics platforms using Amazon Web Services (AWS), specifically Amazon Redshift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecture design, performance optimization, and hands-on leadership in delivering enterprise-grade BI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective data and analytics platforms on AWS.

• Implement workload isolation strategies and data sharing mechanisms using Amazon Redshift (Serverless and/or Provisioned).

• Lead technical design sessions, create architecture documents, and oversee delivery and implementation.

• Optimize data platform performance including RPU sizing, concurrency scaling, and query tuning in Redshift.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies to ensure high-quality delivery.

• Drive technical documentation, knowledge transfer, and stakeholder communication.

• Provide mentorship to development teams and ensure architectural standards and best practices are followed.

• Work in BI/reporting environments; experience with MicroStrategy is a major plus.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Proven experience designing data platform or analytics architectures on AWS.

• Strong hands-on expertise with Amazon Redshift (Serverless and/or Provisioned) – Must-have.

• Knowledge of performance tuning, RPU sizing, and concurrency scaling.

• Familiarity with Redshift Data Sharing, cross-cluster access patterns, and workload management.

• Experience in BI and reporting tools; MicroStrategy experience is a significant advantage.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex project delivery.

• Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred Attributes

• AWS Certifications related to Data Analytics or Solutions Architecture.

• Experience in global delivery models and remote work environments.

• Exposure to Agile methodologies.
