Project Description

MAX online is the most exciting and innovative learning platform for Secondary Education. Our adaptive all-round platform put teachers and pupils central. MAX online assists the teacher in achieving his or her main goal: getting the best learning outcomes for each pupil. Its different modules support the teacher not only by offering the best quality teaching materials, but also by offering a range of time-saving solutions on planning, preparing, coaching and assessing.

Role Responsibilities

As an Automation QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to validate our applications' functionality, performance, and security.

You will work closely with Developers, Product Owner, Business Analyst and other QA team members to ensure high-quality software delivery.

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using TypeScript, Playwright, and Cucumber.
• Perform API (Backend) test automation and UI (Frontend) test automation to validate end-to-end functionality.
• Implemented and managed testing workflows using Bitbucket and integrated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and design test cases accordingly.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and provide detailed reports.
• Maintain and enhance automation frameworks to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Stay updated with industry best practices in test automation and continuously improve testing strategies.
  
  

Must-have Requirements

• Proven experience with TypeScript, Playwright, and Cucumber for test automation.
• Strong understanding of Bitbucket and hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in API (backend) test automation and UI (frontend) test automation.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Professional proficiency in verbal and written English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  
  

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Experience with cloud environments AWS is a plus.
• Knowledge of performance testing and security testing would be an advantage.
