Audit and Compliance Specialist
Position Overview
The Audit and Compliance Specialist is responsible for leading and managing our audits, compilations, and reviews department, as well as overseeing our peer review process. .
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits and assessments to evaluate compliance with regulations and policies.
- Identify compliance risks and recommend strategies to mitigate them.
- Develop and maintain audit plans and schedules to ensure timely completion of audits.
- Prepare audit reports and present findings to management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with various departments to foster a culture of compliance and ethical behavior.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in audit and compliance, preferably in public accounting.
- Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, or CISA is a plus.
- Strong understanding of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
