Facktor provides guidance related to clinic development including financial and operational assessments, quality improvement, strategic planning, and development of Health Resources and Services Administration / Bureau of Primary Health Care (HRSA / BPHC) grant applications and implementation processes. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
In close partnership with other Facktor team members, the Senior Associate/Manager will join the Business Intelligence (BI) division and be invited to join project teams in scoping, implementation, and delivery of projects that are high-profile, technical, and grounded in operational and project outcomes to clients in community healthcare. Projects will be seamlessly integrated into client delivery systems and set the stage for clinical, operational, strategic, compliance, and financial success. Additionally, the Senior Associate/Manager will be able to contribute to Facktor’s own service line development, client relationship building, and business strategy. This position combines operational best practices with thoughtful communication, engagement, and hands-on implementation with clients in the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate has strong subject matter knowledge and experience in data analytics and validation, advanced Excel, data visualization in Power BI and/or Tableau, clinical care and quality improvement, health information technology (HIT), and Structured Query Language (SQL).

- Project Management: Assists in the process of planning, organizing, and overseeing tasks and resources to achieve specific goals within a defined scope, timeline, and budget.
- Leadership: Leads and supervises 1-2 associates while providing professional
- guidance, makes decisions within their scope, and ensures goals are met.
- Judgement: Uses excellent independent judgment when making decisions,
- planning projects, and supervising staff. Understands limitations of expertise
- and seeks consultation appropriately.
- Expertise: Subject matter expertise in their domain and ability to see how their area of expertise integrates with other divisions. Look for opportunities across the firm to utilize SMEs across the firm. Some leadership experience with 5+ years of experience in their field is preferred.
- Decision-Making Authority: Authorized to make independent decisions regarding the scope of tasks.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work both independently and in a team environment to deliver the highest-quality strategic and functional guidance for Facktor clients.
- Lead and supervise a small team while providing professional guidance, makes decisions within their scope, and ensures goals are met.
- Validate and normalize data sets to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Perform and interpret data-driven analysis of healthcare topics such as clinical utilization and productivity, population health and clinical outcomes, and clinical revenue and costs.
- Conduct data transformation and manipulation using MS Excel/PowerQuery, SQL, Power BI, and/or Tableau.
- Build custom queries/stored procedures in SQL to develop reports from Relational Database Management Systems such as MS SQL Server.
- Build interactive dashboards using data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau to analyze, summarize, and present insight from data as well as support client workflows.
- Investigate and research client issues through holistic investigations that utilize document analysis, environmental research, interviews and observations.
- Research, interpret, and meaningfully communicate healthcare-related regulatory, compliance, and operational best practice materials for project stakeholders.
- Ability to identify root causes of problems and come up with effective solutions.
- Provide recommendations to optimize efficiencies, reduce total cost, manage risk, maintain compliance, and improve the quality of delivering healthcare services.
- Develop interventions that are seamless and fully integrated with client operations to ensure that recommendations are actionable and appropriate to their context.
- Foster collaboration between various healthcare disciplines.
- Document recommendations in reports that are precise, thorough, easy to read, and need minimal copy editing.
- Develop presentations that align with professional best practices using MS PowerPoint, Prezi, or similar software.
- Prepare and present accurate reports, analyses, presentations and work products to senior Facktor and client stakeholders.
- Ensure consistency of approach, quality of work, and attention to detail related to analysis, techniques, and presentation of client recommendations.
- Support with project coordination by tracking pending and completed action items, facilitating communication between clients and project leads, scheduling meetings, and developing meeting minutes and agendas.
- Communicate with clients in a manner that is timely, enthusiastic, and distills complex ideas into understandable tasks.
- Build long-term relationships with clients as a trusted, dependable advisor.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
- 3+ years of experience in their field (Senior Associate role) or 5+ years of experience in their field and leadership experience (Manager role).
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, public health, data/analytics, or related field.

- Project or team management experience is a plus (Manager role).

LOCATION:
Facktor supports a remote office environment. The Senior Associate/Manager may be required to travel both locally and nationally to client locations an estimated 10% of the time or less, as needed.
SALARY RANGE: Senior Associate: $90,000-$115,000 Manager: $110,000-$140,000.
SCHEDULE: Full-Time
