What will you be doing?

  • End-to-end management of claims notifications and claims across a variety of legal lines insurance classes including casualty.
  • Working directly with clients to support notifications of claims.
  • Policy coverage analysis and advice.
  • Proactively ensuring smooth coordination of claims with insurers
  • Advocating positions on behalf of clients, managing and resolving coverage issues.
  • Assessing and understanding legal exposure and quantum, liaising with defence counsel and insurers on strategy and defence of the claim.
  • Coordinating and driving pragmatic resolution of claims.
  • Implement and manage claims protocols and reporting procedures, including bordereau reporting.


You will need the following experience and qualifications:

  • Experience in management of either casualty or financial lines insurance claims and insurance law
  • Bachelor of Laws or similar highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in claims management
  • Skilled in policy coverage analysis.
  • Strong technical and advocacy skills.
