Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect – Healthcare to join our dynamic design firm. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of healthcare facility planning, medical programming, and regulatory compliance, along with strong design and project management skills. You will play a key role in leading healthcare projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and delivering innovative, patient-centric design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1.Lead the design and planning of hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities from concept to execution including managing sales leads by undertaking customer interaction.

2.Set costs and project fees according to budget and assist in closing of leads by undertaking design due diligence.

3.Develop master plans and layouts that prioritize patient safety, infection control, and operational efficiency.

4.Ensure compliance with local and international healthcare regulations (e.g., NABH, JCI, FGI, ADA).

5.Coordinate with stakeholders including hospital administrators, medical professionals, and engineering teams.

6.Oversee the preparation of concept designs, detailed drawings, construction documents, and specifications.

7.Participate in quality assurance and quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle.

8.Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

9.Stay updated on healthcare design trends, medical technologies, and sustainability practices.

10.Mentor and guide junior architects in best practices for healthcare architecture.

11.Visit projects to ensure the delivery of project is as per the design and in line with the quality requirements

12.Research and follow industry changes, evolution and best practices.

13.Work on strategic projects and create templates and renders for different spaces that shall be used in marketing collateral and for sales.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 4-8years of experience in healthcare architecture, with a strong portfolio of completed hospital or clinic projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, MS Office, SketchUp, Lumion/Enscape/V-ray - for design visualization and rendering.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare planning standards, patient flow, and hospital infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
