We are looking for a Senior Architect – Technical with experience in one of our sectors. Our disciplines range from initial Architecture to, Custodial, Life Science, Aviation and Defence using the latest innovations for the most efficient and cost-effective design.

About You

As a technical Architect / Designer, you are expected to have a strong track record in one or, preferably, multiple sectors that BakerHicks operates in. You will be a registered Architect or Technician. You’ll be part of an enthusiastic and committed team of Architects and Technicians to deliver high quality output on projects. Client care and repeat business is crucial to BakerHicks success, so you’ll need to be able to develop and nurture relationships with our clients (both internal and external).

Key Purpose

  • Design and specify all aspects of Architecture in accordance with current guidelines, standards, regulations and project deliverables
  • Champion quality and compliance controls within local teams and projects
  • Provide RIBA Stage 5 site support to Contractors and Clients
  • Contribute to the development and mentoring of our Early Careers population and the continuous improvement of departmental capabilities
  • Manage Architectural involvement in multi-disciplinary projects, including time, cost, quality and client relationship management and delivery.

Many of the positions within our company are subject to security clearance. This means that your eligibility for certain roles may be affected by various factors. The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain security clearance for this role as required by our clients and sectors.
