Provide technical assistance to customers by email, phone, and in-person visits (e.g., assisting a customer in designing and programming parts)
and actively work with customers and sales on design-in activities
Create, promote and deliver technical sales training to field personnel
Visit customer sites to provide technical backup for sales and marketing personnel
Design, debug, and document demonstration and/or evaluation boards
Debug/test/document and share results of enhanced features in existing or future products
Develop launch collateral for new products (reference manuals, review datasheets, test software features, understand application use models for new product functions, write application notes, and prepare for frequently asked common questions to educate customers)
Must be comfortable working on challenging problems while working in an interrupt driven environment

Proven track record of success in previous employment Preferred Education, Experience & Capabilities:
Minimum of a technology-related bachelor's degree or equivalent training with 8+ years of related experience
Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals and methodologies
Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
Working knowledge of phase locked loops (PLL), control systems, or experience with 2.5Gbps, 10Gbps, or 40Gbps serial transceivers
Working knowledge of signal integrity issues, simulations, and solutions
Working knowledge of semiconductor quality and process controls
Schematic capture and PCB design skills
Familiarity with circuit-level simulation tools
Strong working knowledge of proper and effective use of lab test equipment
General analog and digital circuit analysis skills (including noise effects)
System analysis skills, and ability to see the bigger picture
Excellent ability to ask the right questions to troubleshoot and debug systems, circuits, and devices
Strong customer interface skills
Meticulous technical documentation authoring and editing skills
