Job Summary

The Senior Application Systems Technical Analyst is a visionary and hands-on role responsible for providing advanced technical expertise, aligning technical solutions with business objectives, and resolving complex system issues. This role collaborates closely with product managers, IT leaders, and project teams, championing agile methodologies and ensuring the seamless integration and functionality of applications, with a specific focus on Salesforce CPQ and related systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Own technical decisions and serve as the escalation point for design and development issues.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Provide advanced technical expertise, application solutions, and setups supporting business processes.
• Analyze applications, identify gaps, and recommend improvements for better utilization.
• Conduct analysis of potential solutions and document them thoroughly.
• Participate in solution design and modeling while transferring knowledge to implementation teams.
• Champion agile methodologies to improve processes and reduce delivery time.
• Test new releases, implement fixes, and develop procedures for end users.
• Manage integrations with applications like Financials and E-commerce, resolving system inconsistencies globally and regionally.
• Support the implementation readiness review process and participate in regular project status reviews.
• Coach and mentor less experienced team members on methodologies and solutions.
• Collaborate with application supplier support and in-house teams to resolve issues and software bugs.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of experience with Salesforce CPQ.
• Proven expertise in solution design, application analysis, and gap resolution.
• Strong knowledge of integration requirements and global/regional systems functionality.
• Proficiency in agile methodologies, including SAFe, for project delivery.
• Ability to understand and recommend solutions for sales processes, from opportunity to order.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering projects using SAFe methodology.
• Strong technical documentation and functional specification skills.
• Familiarity with Financials and E-commerce systems integration.
