Position Status: Permanent Full-Time

Available: Immediately

Description of the Position:

As a Senior Application Specialist for CRM and Marketing you will bring technical expertise and leadership to drive development, implementation, and support of the Foundation’s enterprise and web applications.

You will lead projects across the full software development lifecycle, deliver technical and end-user support and ensure seamless data integration.

This role demands a high level of technical proficiency, strong business acumen, and a passion for delivering solutions that make a difference.

Business Requirements and Development:

  • Leads, analyzes, consults and negotiates with stakeholders on their business needs and technical requests for fundraising and marketing platforms.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to ensure solutions align with organizational objectives.
  • Design and implement marketing automation workflows and journeys.
  • Participates in the development, implementation, configuration, testing, end user training and on-going support for applications.
  • Provides troubleshooting and problem-solving support for applications and any data related issues.
  • Manage and execute ongoing patch testing for CRM and Marketing Technology applications.

Project Management:

  • Responsible for day-to-day project management of scope, schedule, cost, and status updates.
  • Manage multiple streams of work simultaneously, effectively tracking and prioritizing tasks and timelines.
  • Demonstrate a high level of responsiveness and accountability for both assigned tasks and key information management.
  • Responsible for the mitigation of risk through early identification of potential issues impacting cost, scope, schedule, and quality.

Training and Documentation:

  • Supports business users in User Acceptance Testing.
  • Create and maintain documentation for processes and journeys built in the marketing platform.
  • Deliver end-user training for new hires and during new application rollouts.

Data Management:

  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of customer data within the CRM and Marketing Technology platforms.
  • Collaborate with data teams to integrate and synchronize data across multiple systems.
  • Conducts regular audits to maintain data quality and compliance with data privacy regulations.

Compliance and Security:

  • Understanding of data protection regulations (e.g., CASL, CAN-SPAM) and experience implementing compliance measures.
  • Knowledge of security best practices within the CRM and Marketing Technology application platforms.

Continuous Learning:

  • Demonstrate a strong interest in developing new technical skills and maintaining a growth mindset.
  • Proactively remain current with the latest Marketing Technology platform features and best practices.

Qualifications:

While we know that for any job posting no one candidate will possess the qualifications being sought in equal measure, below is an outline of the qualifications we believe are important for a candidate to bring to the position or for the successful candidate to develop while in the role:

  • University degree or college diploma in Computer Science or related discipline combined with demonstrated work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting Enterprise Customer/Donor Management & Marketing Technology Applications (like Blackbaud CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Funraisin)
  • 5+ years of experience with online fundraising platforms.
  • 5+ years of direct experience with the software development lifecycle including: requirements gathering, analysis and design, testing, end user training, deployment planning, patch testing and support.

Total Compensation Package:

Hiring Salary Range: $81,251.00 – $101,566.00; with the ability to progress to a maximum of $116,803.00. To ensure fair and equitable pay at SickKids Foundation, placement on the salary range will be based on your years of experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the Senior, Application Specialist.
