We are seeking an Application Software Engineer in Oslo to join team and contribute to the development of embedded application software for data capture systems. This role requires strong programming skills, understanding of embedded systems, and experience with hardware interfacing. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player with a passion for automation and a commitment to quality.

What You Do

• Develop robust, high-performance software solutions tailored to the unique requirements of industrial environments.
• Interact with stakeholders to develop a strong understanding of the project/product requirements.
• Responsible for technical specification, software testing and documentation
• Debug and resolve software issues, ensuring the reliability and stability of the software.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the enhancement of coding standards and best practices.
• Support to sales, production and technicians in the field.
  
  

What You Bring To The Team

• Bachelor/ Master or equivalent in one of the areas Computer Science, Software Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant programming experience.
• Strong programming skills in languages C / Modern C++ for windows and Linux
• Proven experience working with industrial application software.
• Experienced working with QT, Git.
• Fluent English communication skill, interpersonal and written/verbal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical abilities (root cause).
