UST Global® is looking forSenior Application Developer (Cloud) to join our high-performance team in the Analytics segment within the Data Fabric Decision Science Alliance. You will be responsible for developing cloud-native platforms, designing strategic solutions, and leading key initiatives in high-impact systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud-native platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Contribute to strategic design and requirements definition for critical projects.
• Provide technical guidance, oversee, and review code written by other team members.
• Ensure accurate development time estimates.
• Perform unit testing, deployments in development environments, and technical documentation.
• Identify system improvements and participate in planning, test case reviews, estimations, and project planning.
• Design and implement new features for existing and new GCP platforms.
• Apply security controls during implementation.
• Automate deployments as part of the road to production.

Must-Have Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer working with multiple technologies and application stacks.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Advanced English proficiency (both verbal and written communication).
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools such as Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Nexus, Maven.
• Experience developing scripts in Python, including unit testing with Pytest.
• Experience creating Jenkins pipelines using Groovy scripts.
• Experience deploying cloud resources using Terraform.
• Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting GCP resources.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and continuously learning new methods and technologies.
• Ability to make an impact across the team and the development platform.

Extra Points (Nice-to-Have)

• Experience leading teams of 3-5 collaborators.
• GCP certifications.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Istio, Helm.
• Experience with Jupyter tools (JupyterHub, JupyterLab, Jupyter Notebook).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
