We are looking for people with strong product sense and a great taste for design. This role involves inventing new kinds of UIs for generative mediums, and bringing them to millions of Luma users in a fast iterative environment. Responsibilites * Work with designers, PMs, and other engineers to bring Luma to Android devices. * Build with some of the newest Android technologies like Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, coroutines and flows. * Participate in user research and testing to better understand our customers. * Share responsibility for testing, releasing, and maintaining our mobile apps. * Communicate and document architectural designs and requirements. Experience * 5+ years of experience in developing and shipping delightful native Android apps, using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. * Strong software development skills. * Great design and UX taste. * Familiarity with frameworks like Kotlin Coroutines, Hilt, Room and experience working with media on Android, using libraries like Jetpack Media3, is a strong plus. Compensation * In addition to cash base pay, you'll also receive a sizable grant of Luma's equity. * The pay range for this position is $160000- 225000/yr for Bay Area.
