As a Senior Android Developer, you’ll be responsible for delivering scalable, high-performance applications while guiding best practices, mentoring teammates, and contributing to architectural decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end Android application development — from concept and design to testing and deployment.
  • Architect clean, reusable, and maintainable code using modern Android best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and Backend Engineering.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and actively mentor junior and mid-level developers.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and manage efficient data handling and synchronization.
  • Optimize app performance, reliability, and responsiveness across devices and Android versions.
  • Stay up to date with new technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to continuously improve our development process.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of professional Android development experience.
  • Proficient in Kotlin and Java.
  • Deep understanding of Android architecture, Jetpack components (e.g., LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, Room), and MVVM design pattern.
  • Skilled in using Android Studio, Git, and Gradle.
  • Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles and Google Material Design.
  • Experience with testing tools (JUnit, Espresso) and CI/CD integration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a remote working environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with dependency injection frameworks like Dagger or Hilt.
  • Familiarity with modular app architecture and clean architecture principles.
  • Experience publishing and maintaining apps in the Google Play Store.
  • Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Contributions to open-source Android libraries or active involvement in the developer community.

What We Offer

  • Competitive Salary and performance-based incentives.
  • A collaborative, inclusive, and innovative team culture.
  • Continuous learning opportunities and access to the latest tools and technologies.
