What we’re looking for:

We are looking for a strong and enthusiastic Android Mobile Developer to join our dynamic Application Engineering team to develop and enhance our applications on Android platforms. As a Senior mobile engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications including work on improving the architecture. You will work closely with other Engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and user-friendly mobile solutions

What you’ll be doing:

• Skill Matrix – Candidates are unbale to articulate the skills as per what they have mentioned in the skill matrix, specifically with Clean Architecture / MVVM and Jetpack compose (Data population). Please continue sending the skill matrix as its required along with the coding test/document. Skill Matrix must be taken by Supplier recruiter based on their assessment.
• Coding Test – There is no specific platform to conduct coding test using Jetpack compose, if suppliers can get the candidates screened internally through someone who is working into mobile development environment, that could be a great checkpoint. Else, please have them create mini projects using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose which would be helpful for the 1st round of interview. The manager has given some leverage to use internet but not AI, during 1st round of coding test, the manage checks upon the skills as well as what approach and architecture the candidate is going to use. The hiring manager will make a decision collectively based on all given areas. As soon as we receive coding results, we will start scheduling screenings calls, please send coding result/documents on the same submission email trail.
• Skills - Clean Architecture / MVVM and Jetpack compose are the two areas where candidates were lacking majorly during 1st round of interviews happened, please do check all the highlighted skills given by the manager along with these 2 to source better candidates.
• This individual will be a part of the new project called 24MM to support software development for the release of Toyota vehicles cars by the end of 2025.
• They will be working on a Global project which supports multiple countries i.e. OneApp and will be working on the client side/applications as this team will be responsible for supporting client side.
• Kotlin and Jetpack Compose are must haves and bare minimum to be considered for this position.
• Candidates need to have Android Studio Developer Set Up as there will be a coding test in the 1st round of interview.
• While submitting candidates please get the attached skill template filled from the candidate and send it along with the submission details, they would need to rate themselves under marks obtained column out of 5 in various technologies used.
• This will be a 6 months project initially with high chances of getting extended.
