Were looking for a young and energetic individual to join our team as a Visual designer in our development office in Noida. Working closely with our product and development teams,the person will be responsible for creation of user interfaces and visual experiences across the full spectrum of our projects /products across desktop, mobile and tablets.

Responsibilities

Take the lead and own the development of the LocalCircles Android application.

Work closely with the Technology and product lead in developing and implementing product features on the android App.

Managing the overall architecture of the app including network layouts, configurations and performance. Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.

Co-ordinate with the QA and product lead to identify bug and issue fixing and improving the overall application performance

Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and enhance user experience

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features as and when required.

Experience

5 years of software development experience, ideally using Java or Python.

Have experience in publishing an Android app from scratch, minimum 2 app published on Play store

Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and development for multiple resolution displays.

Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices

Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git and of multi-threaded interface design, XML, JSON parsing and data serialization

Investigates, defines and resolves complex problems. Act as expert with respect to any technology issues. Have a knack to define and develop POC.

Good to have experience in developing apps on Phonegap, Cordova

Experience working with automation tools (Build/Deployment/test)

Ability to handle large amounts of data and phenomenal debugging principles and perseverance.
