Summary

Brief Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Analyst in Westerville, OH to join our Americas SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Operations & Planning) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive analysis of all SIOP-related data, creating detailed Excel sheet analyses, and developing insightful PowerBI analysis charts. This role requires a strong background in data analysis, database management, and the ability to work collaboratively with IT to develop tools that integrate the SIOP process for demand and supply integration. The Senior Analyst, SIOP Process, will play a key role in driving the success and efficiency of the SIOP process within the Americas Region. This individual will be responsible for analyzing SIOP-related data, creating and managing PowerBI dashboards, and collaborating with Information Technology to develop integration tools. The role requires expertise in data analysis, Excel, PowerBI, and database management, with a strong understanding of SIOP and operations processes. Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria with Time investment Needed on Each: (This will describe the overall core responsibilities of the role, decision making responsibilities etc.) * Work with Americas SIOP managers to conduct thorough data analysis of Americas' SIOP data, including backlog and financial data. * Create and maintain Excel sheet analysis, including pivot tables and advanced data visualizations. * Develop and manage PowerBI analysis charts and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making. * Create and maintain a PowerBI website to facilitate easy access to SIOP data and insights. * Export data from existing Oracle systems and create databases for efficient data management and analysis. * Collaborate with IT to develop and implement tools that integrate the SIOP process for demand and supply integration. * Provide expert support in data analysis and PowerBI to enhance the SIOP process. * Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all analyses and reports. * Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in SIOP and data analysis. * Work with the IT department to develop system-wide tools for an automated AI-enabled SIOP process. AI experience is a plus. * Experience with Supply Chain Planning is a plus. * Experience with Oracle and Snowflake is a plus. Qualifications: Required/ Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Finance, Data Science, or a related field. * Proven experience in data analysis, preferably within the SIOP or operations domain. * Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and complex data analysis. * Strong experience with PowerBI, including creating and managing dashboards and websites. * Familiarity with database management and the ability to export data from Oracle systems. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Strong communication and collaboration skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Knowledge of SIOP, Operations Processes and Supply Chain Planning is a plus. * AI experience is a plus. * Experience with Oracle and Snowflake is a plus. * Years of related experience - 5~10 years Physical & Environmental Requirements: Time Travel Needed: - * Travel requirements: 10% The successful candidate will embrace Vertiv's Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.
