Title: Finance Reporting & Consolidation – Senior Analyst
Reports to: Senior Manager/Manager/Lead Analyst
Location: Gurugram
Shift: 12pm-9:30pm

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to support complex consolidations, manage critical ledger functions, and drive accuracy in financial reporting. This role involves providing advanced technical expertise, ensuring compliance, and mentoring junior team members to enhance reporting processes and efficiency.
Responsibilities: (including but are not limited to)
Financial Reporting:
Lead the preparation and review of financial consolidation and statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
Support external and internal audits by providing supporting documentation and addressing queries.
Prepare and review financial consolidations, including fund and deal level reports.
Preparing Intercompany balance reconciliation and work on elimination process.
In-depth analysis of accounting of multicurrency transactions.
Maintain various reporting ledgers
Oversee monthly and quarterly Net Debt process, ensuring consistency and alignment across reporting cycles.
Test processes for data accuracy and manage system updates.
Monitor statutory accounts and manage reporting timelines.
Provide technical support and guidance during audits, regulatory reporting, and compliance reviews.
Mentor and support junior analysts, fostering skill development and process understanding.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional finance teams, including accounting, treasury, and operations, to gather necessary information and improve reporting accuracy.
Provide financial insights and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
Process Oversight and Continuous Improvement:
Identify, propose, and implement automation opportunities to streamline reporting and consolidation processes.
Monitor task management and activity timelines to meet reporting deadlines consistently.
Leadership and Mentoring:
Mentor and guide junior team mates to develop technical and analytical skills. Ability to perform complex reporting specific to the fund strategy.
Compliance and Controls:
Ensure adherence to corporate policies and procedures, maintaining a strong control environment.
Assist in the implementation of new financial reporting standards and updates.
Ad-hoc Projects:
Actively participate in the client driven projects and initiatives fulfilling wider functional goals & objectives.
Provide operational support for strategy development as needed.
