Summary

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Analyst Financial Reporting to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $105,000 to $115,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in drafting and reviewing SEC filings, including 10-Qs, 10-Ks, earnings releases, and proxy statements.
  • Ensure compliance with XBRL reporting requirements for all SEC filings.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data for reporting, including lease and revenue recognition standards.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and provide variance explanations.
  • Support the period-end close process by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Communicate effectively through email, phone, and group discussions.
  • Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Apply strong research and analytical skills to financial reporting and technical accounting issues.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 2+ years of experience at a Big 4 accounting firm.
  • Possess experience with global consolidations and financial reporting for international operations.
  • Be familiar with Cognos Controller, Great Plains, and XBRL tagging.
  • Understand GAAP and demonstrate the ability to support audits and special projects such as acquisitions or restructurings.
