Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Analyst Financial Reporting to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $105,000 to $115,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities
Assist in drafting and reviewing SEC filings, including 10-Qs, 10-Ks, earnings releases, and proxy statements.
Ensure compliance with XBRL reporting requirements for all SEC filings.
Partner with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data for reporting, including lease and revenue recognition standards.
Prepare monthly financial reports and provide variance explanations.
Support the period-end close process by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
Requirements
Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Communicate effectively through email, phone, and group discussions.
Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Apply strong research and analytical skills to financial reporting and technical accounting issues.
Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
2+ years of experience at a Big 4 accounting firm.
Possess experience with global consolidations and financial reporting for international operations.
Be familiar with Cognos Controller, Great Plains, and XBRL tagging.
Understand GAAP and demonstrate the ability to support audits and special projects such as acquisitions or restructurings.
