About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Analog Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer to lead the development of Read Out Integrated Circuits (ROICs) for high-performance infrared sensors. In this role, you will spearhead design initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and shape the future of advanced sensor systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers specializing in digital and analog mixed-signal IC design.
- Collaborate with program stakeholders to achieve technical objectives and foster innovation.
- Conduct and participate in detailed design reviews to ensure performance and quality standards are met.
- Enhance design processes by promoting IP reuse and implementing advanced methodologies.
- Manage project workloads and resources to support current and future development initiatives.
- Work closely with ROIC foundries to optimize fabrication processes and performance.
Qualifications & Experience
- MSEE or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in digital and analog mixed-signal IC design, ideally for infrared ROICs.
- Expertise in CMOS semiconductor IC design, including full-custom analog layout.
- Proficiency with deep sub-micron design, parasitic RC delay analysis, signal integrity, and transistor matching.
- Hands-on experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Layout L/XL, and verification tools such as Assura and Calibre.
- Track record of successful tape-outs for high-precision mixed-signal circuits (e.g., PLLs, serializers, DACs, ADCs, precision regulators).
- ROIC and pixel design experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to excel in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment both independently and within a team.
