The incumbent's main mandate is to orchestrate the implementation of strategic and organizational initiatives within the Personal and Commercial Banking group. The incumbent actively participates in the development of change management strategies as well as the deployment and execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Implements the action plans required to deliver the business line's strategic and tactical projects.
  • Takes part in the management of initiatives and organizational changes for the business line, mainly in terms of processes, systems, regulatory updates, payment systems, etc.
  • Ensures the ongoing execution and evolution of projects, coordinates timelines, and keeps relevant stakeholders informed of the progress of initiatives.
  • Participates with corporate, IT and business stakeholders throughout the duration of projects.
  • Documents project scope, objectives, stakeholders' business needs, impacts, risks, interdependence with other projects, and added value for the organization.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of current legislation, Bank policies, programs, and procedures

Qualifications

  • University degree in a relevant field and 7 years' experience, including 5 years' experience in banking operations
  • Good knowledge of retail or commercial banking services
  • Good knowledge/understanding of the Canadian banking regulatory environment
  • Management of projects or initiatives at an executive level
  • Bilingualism*, both written and spoken (French and English)
  • Proficiency in Office suite: Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word and MS Project
  • Knowledge of Confluence and Jira is an asset
  • Professional working proficiency in French and English languages required as position involves frequent written and oral communication on complex matters with internal and external parties in both languages.
