We are seeking to add to our staff due to growth in our business. We are looking to add a full time Senior ERP Implementation Consultant / Project Manager.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Implementation Consultant / Project Manager is responsible for implementing new customers, project planning implementation projects and supporting existing customers. For implementations, the consultant will lead the project from our side, working closely with the customer’s business leads and project team members. For project planning implementation projects, the consultant will oversee project plans, schedules, timelines, and client interactions, working closely with the implementation team and project team members. For support, the consultant will work with customers on support request tickets, troubleshooting as required, and escalating when needed.

• Manage the client’s implementation process implementation discovery, project analysis, scope of work creation, and fit-gap analysis
• Monitor and deliver to a mutually agreed project plan and implementation timeline
• Provide functional consulting services including explaining products and services, instructing and training in use of software, configuring software, resolving problems and troubleshooting
• Support clients by answering challenging application questions, monitoring changes, and tracking issues that arise during the implementation process and resolving or escalating problems per company guidelines that may arise
• Analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs
• Following established implementation standards
• Assist with the development and implementation of new or improved service delivery strategies and initiatives.
• Develop and/or maintain all project documentation and client reporting
• Develop personal skills to efficiently and effectively work individually and as a member of the consulting team
• Be proactive with completing training and achieving Acumatica software certifications
• Assist clients by strategically responding to functional elements of requirements
• Participate in company sponsored job related activities
• Provide feedback and suggested solutions regarding client needs, deficiencies, challenges and attitudes
• Assist and mentor new team members as assigned
• Travel to client sites as required
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business technology, accounting, supply chain Management, or other related field of study
• Experience with installation and configuration of various Business Application Software (Mid-Market ERP)
• Experience managing project planning and project lifecycles
• Two or more years ERP software implementation and/or pre/post sales consulting experience including business consulting, project management, project definition, estimating, proposal writing, and planning skills for engagements
• Software presentation and demonstration experience with ERP Financial, Distribution, Service, and/or Manufacturing functionality
• Accounting background and experience including the ability to intelligently discuss accounting-related issues / financial reports; understand and develop financial reports, draw T-accounts for analytical uses, know basic accounting concepts
• A strong sense of ownership and initiative. Be willing and able to push projects through and overcome obstacles.
• Experience with Acumatica a strong plus
• Experience with building and maintaining good client relationships
• Experience with SmartSheet or other project management platform
• Organized with the ability to manage and prioritize many projects simultaneously, reliable and punctual
• Ability to use analytical skills to resolve business and technical issues
• Able to eliminate implementation obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
• Language and Communication Skills – Must possess strong presentation skills and can communicate professionally verbally and in writing, using appropriate vocabulary, grammar and word usage
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business and technical information
• Ability to work independently, without close supervision, as well as part of a team
• Ability to communicate complex issues to varying levels of users in a professional, positive, friendly and understandable manner
• Must be ready and willing to travel to customer locations as needed
• Willingness to work non-standard hours as needed
