Job Description:

Sinterx Pharma Pvt Ltd is actively seeking a Senior Finance & Accounts Manager with 6 to 8 years of robust experience in finance and accounting within a manufacturing setup. The candidate should be technically strong, highly detail-oriented, and capable of managing financial processes efficiently with a professional and growth-oriented mindset. As part of our evolving pharmaceutical manufacturing company, the candidate will be instrumental in ensuring accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and effective coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  1. Ensure timely preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, and reconciliations with high levels of accuracy and compliance.
  2. Manage all aspects of day-to-day accounting, including general ledger, journal entries, invoicing, accounts receivable/payable, and payroll processing.
  3. Monitor and process transactions and vendor payments in a timely manner to avoid delays or disruptions in operations.
  4. Maintain compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations including timely filing of GST, TDS, and income tax returns.
  5. Use accounting software (e.g., Tally ERP) and technology tools efficiently to streamline financial operations and reporting.
  6. Conduct regular internal audits, variance analysis, and compliance checks to identify discrepancies and areas for correction.
  7. Support cross-functional teams (procurement, production, sales) by providing financial inputs and ensuring alignment with financial policies.
  8. Demonstrate initiative in suggesting improvements in accounting processes and adopting best practices for operational efficiency.
  9. Maintain a high degree of accuracy in data entry, documentation, and validation of financial records.
  10. Display professionalism and ownership while handling confidential financial data and client/vendor interactions.
  11. Mentor junior accounts staff, promote a collaborative work culture, and contribute positively to team communication.
  12. Keep up with changes in accounting standards, taxation policies, and finance regulations, and apply them proactively.
  13. Maintain focus and productivity even under pressure, ensuring deliverables are met within strict timelines.
  14. Take accountability for errors, act on feedback constructively, and display a positive attitude at work.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  1. B. Com / M. Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter or equivalent.
  2. 6 to 8 years of experience in managing finance & accounts in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
  3. Solid understanding of Indian Accounting Standards, GST, TDS, and related compliance.
  4. Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and relevant accounting systems.
  5. Strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach.
  7. Proactive learner with a drive for self-improvement and innovation.

Physical Demands / Work Environment Factors:

  • Primarily office-based role with occasional external coordination with banks, auditors, and vendors.
  • Must frequently travel from office to R&D Centre and Factory to verify stock.
  • Must be able to handle pressure during audits, tax filings, and financial closures.
