Our client is an international organization that helps businesses stay ahead by leveraging external insights to make smarter decisions.

As they continue to grow, they are seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join their diverse and dynamic team in Amsterdam.

This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented leader with expertise in corporate accounting and reporting.

Key responsibilities of the Senior Accounting Manager:

• Prepare and refine monthly financial presentations for the CFO and CAO

• Oversee internal review pack preparation

• Manage an automated consolidation process, including intercompany recharges

• Generate and analyze income statement reports, balance sheet reports, and consolidated cashflow statements

• Support external reporting

• Address complex accounting matters proactively

• Business partner with FP&A, global Accounting, Technical Accounting, Reporting, Treasury, and Tax teams

• Optimize the monthly close process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Lead, mentor, and manage two direct reports

Your profile:

• 10+ years of experience in Accounting, Financial Control, or a similar role

• Big 4 background and a professional Accounting certification (RA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)

• Knowledge of US GAAP

• Team leadership experience

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, and drive long-term improvements

• Strong communication skills to engage with leadership, auditors, and business partners

• Fluent in English
