Primary Responsibilities: + Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). + Handle month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. + Manage complex reconciliations, including bank accounts and general ledger accounts. + Handle budgeting, cash forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with audits. + Mentor and provide guidance to staff accountant/ accounting clerk to promote skill development and team cohesion. + Utilize public accounting experience to support the company's financial goals and ensure alignment with industry best practices. Requirements Required Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. + CPA designation or progress toward certification is highly preferred. + 3-5+ years of accounting experience, ideally with some time spent in public accounting. + Strong proficiency with ERP systems, financial reporting software, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills + Thorough understanding of GAAP and technical accounting principles. + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
