RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Generate and distribute financial reports that provide essential insights to support decision-making.
• Drive innovation and propose process enhancements to elevate financial closure and account analysis preparation.
• Collaborate on various projects and assignments to advance departmental goals.
• Spearhead the maintenance of accounting systems and processes to ensure operational efficiency.
• Develop and execute accurate and compliant journal entries in alignment with company policies and relevant accounting regulations.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts meticulously, with punctuality and comprehensive analytical support; implement necessary adjusting entries.
• Establish and uphold comprehensive documentation of processes and procedures.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices through active participation in educational opportunities.
• Foster cross-functional partnerships to maintain real-time visibility into business drivers influencing accounting transactions and reporting.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as delegated.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Proven professional expertise in general accounting, encompassing journal entries, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.
• Experience in manufacturing, retail or public accounting is ideal.
• Exhibit thought leadership, innate curiosity, and the ability to comprehend intricate business operations and complex accounting transactions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level.
• Strong analytical acumen with meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience with computerized general ledger systems.
• Effective management of short-term and long-term deliverables, showcasing exceptional organizational skills.
• A collaborative team player with adept communication skills for effective interaction across all organizational levels.
